Whey powder is a by-product of cheese production; it is one of the components which separate from milk after curdling. It is then spray dried to make it into its powdered form. It can be used in baking. It can also be taken as a drink, though this is not ideal as it only has 11g protein. Add 1 cup water to 2 tablespoons of powder, mix in blender and add fruit/honey if desired.
Storage: Best kept in fridge and used within 24 months.
